July 8th – Live Music with Greg Gilbertson

Join us Saturday, July 8th for an afternoon of live music from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. by Greg Gilbertson from Chippewa Falls, Wis., an acoustic fingerstyle guitarist.

Greg Gilbertson is a sight to behold. Effortlessly producing texturally exciting instrumental guitar pieces as vibrant as a Monet, he has continued in the tradition acoustic fingerstyle guitar made prominent by artists Michael Hedges and Leo Kottke. Communicating deep abstract emotions via his guitar he leaves enough room for your imagination to soar.

We will have wine, cheese and snacks available for purchase, so come, relax and enjoy.

Feel free to bring a chair for this outdoor event.

September 10th – Live Music by Dead Horses

Join us Saturday, September 10th from 3:30-6:00 p.m. for a free concert featuring Dead Horses.
Originally hailing from a small Wisconsin town made world famous by a pair of overalls (Oshkosh, B’Gosh), the now Milwaukee-based band have cultivated a sensibility well beyond their years due in part to the powerful musical and literary force that is their frontwoman and songwriter, Sarah Vos.

Raised on Bible Hymns by her preacher father, Vos’ backstory sounds more like that of an old bluesman from the Mississippi Delta than a young folk singer from Wisconsin. Despite their youth, Dead Horses have crafted a timeless sound, informed as much by modern roots music as it is by the classics.
Following the release of their sophomore album Space and Time in 2014, Dead Horses have toured tirelessly. From ballrooms to festivals, and most recently with a drummer in tow, Dead Horses have performed with Trampled by Turtles, Mandolin Orange, and Elephant Revival, as well as on mainstages at Bristol Rhythm and Roots, WinterWonderGrass, Americana Music Festival, and Red Ants Pants.
At one such fateful festival, Dead Horses piqued the interest of Ken Coomer (Wilco, Uncle Tupelo) who later invited the band to his studio to record their latest album, Cartoon Moon. Featuring mandolin, organ, banjo, harmonium, and Coomer on drums, Cartoon Moon is a masterful achievement from a band that has come into its own.
